The curious case of attires

I believe everyone in this era will say they are not racist and sexist and are more capable than not to form an objective opinion of a person by looking at his character rather than other superficial matter.
Nonetheless, being in the law practice has taught me otherwise.
The attire you wear matter. And by a lot.
Yes, I am referring to none other but the famous orange and purple colour remand attires.
The reason given by the authorities is having suspects wearing these attires are easier for the police to identify and in the event of a runner, the location where the attires are disposed off will serve as a clue as to the whereabouts of the escapee.
So, you might say: well, it is just a shirt and pants.
No, not really.
You will beg to differ when you wear one on. You can see it in the people's eyes.
I believe in the general independence, impartiality and objectivity of judicial officers. But judicial officers are human too. Why are we putting them in a hard spot by having them think whether the suspect is innocent? The bare minimum is all suspects are innocent before proven guilty. Don't make them have an internal moral conflict.
It is about time for justice to be seen to be done.
